Quitting Facebook

I quit Facebook today.  I feel very, very ... VERY good about this decision.  It has always bothered me to contribute content to another website, letting them make money by placing ads on my content without compensating me.  I hate their total disregard of privacy rights, I hate their total disregard of their users, period.  I honestly don't like most of the people on Facebook except for my friends, and every time I'm on Facebook I am subjected to a flood of negativity, hatred, and stupidity.  To hell with that!

Moving to Lake Tahoe

Moving to Lake Tahoe

I have lived at least 1/2 time in Vail, Colorado for the last 10 years.  Though I've loved it here, I am looking forward to exploring a new region, the area around Lake Tahoe on the California/Nevada border.  There, I will be able to play poker on a daily basis and hopefully build up my playing bankroll.  Leasing a home is also cheaper there, by about 1/3 as vs. Vail prices.  I already have friends there, it turns out.  I just can't express how excited I am to be moving there.  Again, nothign against Vail!  I love it here, I just don't have any way to make money here.  There, I do.
